  1. Deb,

Since Outlook doesn't have a Building Blocks.dotx and uses NormalEmail.dotm, if its name is at least 4 characters long, then they can save it as an AutoText. Though, I'd rather be consistent with showing how to save it as a Quick Part so it's the same procedure in both Word & Outlook.

I haven't heard of the NormalEmail.dotm getting corrupt and needing to be replaced, but who knows. The only method I saw is to copyundefinedpaste the NormalEmail.dotm. (Talked about here: https:undefinedundefinedwww.extendoffice.comundefineddocumentsundefinedoutlookundefined1454-outlook-import-export-quick-parts.html#a)

I'd recommend the same that I mentioned with the Word Building Blocks.dotx – actually, it's possible to use the same Word document with all the Quick Parts in it. All people would need to do is copyundefinedpaste the Quick Parts they want to bring over into a blank email message and go through and save them as Quick Parts in Outlook with the same name.
