Control Excel page breaks with Page Break Preview

If you have an Excel spreadsheet you’d like to print but you don’t like where the page breaks are occurring naturally, here’s hands-down the easiest way to fix it.

Go to the View tab and change your view to Page Break Preview. The dotted lines show where Excel is automatically inserting page breaks into your document. All you have to do to change those is to click and drag them wherever you’d prefer.

That’s it!

Now when you preview your printout in Print Preview, your pages will break at points that make more sense to you.
